AFK Airport Security launched on 7 July 2026. Nolimit City's setting this time is a security checkpoint, flashing scanner lights, a queue of nervous passengers, a security team that has questions. The theme is funny in the way Nolimit usually is. The mechanics underneath it are where the real work happens.
The max win is 19,693x, though the xZone description itself references a 32,000x figure, worth noting if you see both numbers floating around.

The Theme
You are in an airport security line and nothing is going your way. Scanner lights flash, conveyor belts rattle, and a security team eyes your luggage with deep suspicion. Pay symbols and feature names lean fully into the joke: Full Body Scanner, Quarantine, Lithium-ion Batteries, Random Security Search. It is one of Nolimit's more grounded comedic settings, recognisable, mildly stressful, and very on-brand.
How the Base Game Works
Standard 5x3 grid, wins pay through standard line combinations. A Wild substitutes for any symbol except Bonus symbols. A feature meter sits at the top of the screen, and Bonus symbols collect there toward triggering free spins.
Twelve distinct features can activate, each working differently:
- Quarantine: removes 1 or 2 random low-paying symbols from the reel area entirely
- Full Body Scanner: selects 1 or 2 low-paying symbols and replaces every instance of them with a random high-paying symbol
- Not My Bag: lands 3 to 6 mystery symbols that all reveal the same regular paying symbol once resolved
- Arm Slides: any Wild on the grid expands to cover its entire reel
- Class Upgrade: selects one regular paying symbol and applies a multiplier of 3x, 5x, 8x, or 10x to every instance of it on the grid
- Extra Seat Space: selects one regular paying symbol and splits every instance of it into two
- Full Row Booking: selects 1, 2, or 3 reels and splits every symbol in them into two, except Bonus symbols
- Lithium-ion Batteries: replaces 1 or 2 regular paying symbols with Wilds and splits all adjacent symbols into two
- Turbulence: shuffles all non-winning symbols on the grid, retaining their multiplier and size, except Bonus symbols
- "Random" Security Search: replaces 1, 2, or 3 regular paying symbols with Wilds
- Air-Mile Multiplier: reveals a random multiplier of 3x, 5x, 8x, or 10x and applies it to all wins
- Connecting Flight: win combinations pay both ways instead of only left to right
Each of these is a self-contained modifier. When several are active at once during free spins, they compound. A grid where symbols are splitting (Extra Seat Space), Wilds are expanding (Arm Slides), and a multiplier is applying to all wins (Air-Mile Multiplier) simultaneously produces dramatically different outcomes than the base game alone.
xZone
xZone is the headline new mechanic in AFK Airport Security. When an xZone Sauce symbol lands, it applies a +1 multiplier to every regular paying symbol and Wild adjacent to it, in all eight directions: vertically, horizontally, and diagonally.
Multiple xZone Sauce symbols can land on the same row in a single spin, but not on the same reel. During a specific event called FEDCON 1, xZone Sauce can only land on the inner reels, but every connected paying symbol still receives the +1 multiplier. With multiple xZone symbols landing and their boosted zones overlapping, multiplier stacking across a wide section of the grid is possible in a single spin.
xSplit
xSplit first appeared in xWays Hoarder xSplit back in July 2021 and returns here in a modified role. Any xSplit symbol in view splits all symbols to its left into two, increasing the number of ways to win on that spin. After splitting, the xSplit symbol itself transforms into a Wild.
In this release, xSplit symbols that appear to the right of a Scatter symbol turn that Scatter into a Super Scatter, which helps progress the bonus game through its tiers. Outside of that progression role, xSplit functions as a standalone ways-multiplier and wild-generator during ordinary base game spins.
Three Bonus Tiers
Economy Class Spins (3 Bonus Symbols)
Seven free spins, starting with one randomly selected feature from the list of twelve. That feature stays active for the remainder of the round. Any additional feature that activates during the spins awards one extra spin and joins the active feature set permanently for the rest of Economy Class Spins.
Business Class Spins (4 Bonus Symbols)
Seven free spins with the same rules as Economy Class, but starting with two randomly selected features active from spin one instead of one.
First Class Spins (5 Bonus Symbols)
Seven free spins, same rules again, starting with three randomly selected features active immediately.
Across all three tiers, every additional feature that triggers during the round adds a spin and stacks permanently. A First Class Spins round that runs long enough to activate several more features on top of its starting three can end up with most or all twelve features running simultaneously by the final spins.
Nolimit Boosters
| Booster | Cost | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Booster | 1.4x stake | Guaranteed Bonus symbol on reel 2 |
| 3 Mile High Club | 12x stake | Guaranteed minimum of 3 features active |
| 12 Mile High Club | 4,500x stake | Guaranteed all 12 features active |
At €0.20 minimum the Bonus Booster costs €0.28 and the 3 Mile High Club costs €2.40. The 12 Mile High Club, guaranteeing every single feature running at once, costs €900 at minimum bet. That is an extreme price for an extreme outcome, but it is the only way to see all twelve features stacked together on demand rather than hoping they activate naturally during a strong free spins run.
The Captain's Cap
The max payout is named "The Captain's Cap" and caps the game at 19,693x the base bet. Any round that exceeds this total ends immediately and pays out 19,693x. At €0.20 minimum that is €3,938.60. At €100 max bet it is €1,969,300.
The probability of reaching it is 1 in 11.7 million. The route there is a First Class Spins round (or boosted via the 12 Mile High Club) where most or all twelve features are active, xZone Sauce symbols are stacking multipliers across the grid, xSplit symbols are expanding ways and generating Wilds, and an Air-Mile Multiplier or Class Upgrade applies a high multiplier to the accumulated wins.
RTP and Volatility
RTP is 96.07%, solid for Nolimit City. Volatility is High. The 23.94% hit frequency means roughly one in four spins produces something in the base game, while free spins trigger naturally about once every 278 spins. The base game runs at a reasonable pace, but the real swings depend entirely on how many features stack during a free spins round.
Our Verdict
The theme is sharp, the comedy lands, and the mechanical depth rewards players who like systems with a lot of moving parts. The 12 Mile High Club at 4,500x stake is there for players who want to see the full system in action without relying on a natural trigger, though the cost reflects how rare that combination is.
If you enjoy Nolimit City's heavier feature-stacking releases, AFK Airport Security delivers exactly that kind of session.
