Le Bunny is Hacksaw Gaming's Easter-themed entry in the Le series. Smokey the raccoon dresses up as a bunny this time. Golden Squares are back. Jackpots are new. Rainbow symbols trigger reveals just like previous Le games.
I tested Le Bunny because it's the latest Le slot. Turns out it's a reskin of Le King with an Easter theme. Let's break down what's actually here.

How It Looks
Easter theme with a twist. Bunnies, sweets, springtime colors.
Smokey dressed as a rabbit, looking grumpy as usual.
Weird shift: Spell of Luck bonus turns the game into Halloween vibes. Witch's hat, cauldron, skull appear. Not sure what Hacksaw was thinking mixing Easter and witchy aesthetics.
Visuals feel patchy. Theme doesn't commit fully to Easter or Halloween.
6x5 grid using cluster pays. Land 5+ matching symbols touching to win.
Super Cascades
When you land a winning cluster in Le Bunny, all symbols in that combination vanish.
New symbols drop down to fill gaps.
If new clusters form, the process repeats.
Standard cascade mechanic. Keeps action moving after wins.
Golden Squares - The Core Mechanic
Every position that forms part of a win gets marked with a Golden Square when that symbol disappears.
Golden Squares stay on screen after the cascade ends.
They activate when: A Rainbow symbol lands on the same spin.
What they reveal when activated:
- Bronze Coins: 0.2x to 4x
- Silver Coins: 5x to 20x
- Gold Coins: 25x to 500x
- Baskets: Special collector symbols
- Green Clovers: Multiply adjacent coins/baskets
- Gold Clovers: Multiply ALL coins/baskets on grid
- Jackpot Eggs: Trigger jackpot prizes
How the reveals work in Le Bunny:
Step 1: Squares Flip and Reveal
All Golden Squares flip over showing coins, clovers, baskets, or jackpot eggs.
Step 2: Green and Gold Clovers Multiply
Green Clovers multiply coins or baskets on adjacent squares by x2 to x20.
Gold Clovers multiply ALL coins and baskets on the entire grid by x2 to x20.
Gold Clovers are way more powerful. One Gold Clover hitting x20 multiplies your whole board.
Step 3: Baskets Collect
Baskets collect values of all coins and other baskets on the grid.
They store the total value.
Step 4: Squares Activate Again
After baskets collect, all other Golden Squares activate again, revealing new symbols.
Fresh coins appear. New clovers might show up. More baskets can land.
The entire process repeats: clovers multiply, baskets collect, squares reveal again.
This keeps going until all Golden Squares have been processed.
Final payout: All collected values add together and pay.
Same cascading reveal system as Le Bandit and Le Pharaoh. If you've played those, you know how Le Bunny works.
Jackpots - New Addition
Jackpot Eggs can land on reels in Le Bunny or be revealed by Golden Squares.
They activate when:
- Jackpot Egg lands AND Rainbow symbol also lands on that spin
- Jackpot Egg gets revealed in a Golden Square
Four jackpot tiers:
Mini: 10x bet
Major: 100x bet
Mega: 1,000x bet
Max Win: 20,000x bet
Max Win jackpot is the 20,000x max payout for Le Bunny.
Jackpots aren't common in Le slots. This is a nice addition even if everything else is recycled.
Spell of Luck Bonus
Trigger: 3 scatter symbols in base game.
10 free spins awarded.
How it works in Le Bunny:
Base game mechanics active.
Golden Squares remain on reels until Rainbow symbol activates them.
In base game, Golden Squares disappear after activation or next spin. Here they persist across multiple spins.
Minimum coin value is 1x (no 0.2x or 0.5x coins).
Retriggers:
- 2 scatters = +2 spins
- 3 scatters = +4 spins
Build Golden Squares over several spins, then trigger them all at once when Rainbow finally lands.
Swiping the Streets Bonus
Trigger: 4 scatter symbols in base game.
10 free spins awarded.
The upgrade:
Same as Spell of Luck PLUS Golden Squares stick to reels until the round ends, even after being activated.
Golden Squares can activate multiple times throughout the feature.
Every time a Rainbow lands, all Golden Squares activate, reveal prizes, then light back up ready to activate again.
You can trigger the same positions 3, 4, 5+ times across the feature in Le Bunny.
Retriggers:
- 2 scatters = +2 spins
- 3 scatters = +4 spins
This is where big wins happen. Multiple activations of the same Golden Squares with baskets collecting repeatedly.
Rainbow Riches Hidden Epic Bonus
The ultimate Le Bunny feature you can't buy.
Trigger: 5 scatter symbols in base game. Extremely rare.
10 free spins awarded.
What makes it special:
Same as Swiping the Streets (Golden Squares stick even after activation).
Rainbow symbol GUARANTEED on every single spin.
Only Silver and Gold Coins appear (no Bronze).
That means Golden Squares activate 10 times minimum. Every spin triggers reveals, clovers, baskets, then squares light back up for the next spin.
Higher coin values mean bigger collection totals.
This is the max win mode in Le Bunny. Can't be bought. Have to earn it through 5 scatter luck.
Bonus Buy Options
Four purchase options in Le Bunny:
1. BonusHunt FeatureSpins - 3x bet
Each spin is 5x more likely to trigger a bonus.
You're buying enhanced trigger chances, not direct entry.
Cheap way to chase bonuses.
2. RainbowCatching FeatureSpins - 60x bet
Guarantees at least one win AND one Rainbow symbol each spin.
Every spin triggers Golden Riches reveals.
More consistent action than base game.
3. Spell of Luck - 80x bet
Direct entry to 10 free spins with persistent Golden Squares.
Standard bonus buy.
4. Swiping the Streets - 250x bet
Direct entry to 10 free spins with Golden Squares that stick even after activation.
Premium version with multiple activation potential.
Most expensive but gives you the best purchasable feature in Le Bunny.
Note: You cannot buy Rainbow Riches Hidden Epic Bonus. That's trigger-only.
Le Series Slots Comparison: Le Bandit vs Le Pharaoh vs Le Fisherman vs Le Bunny
Hacksaw Gaming's Le series features Smokey the raccoon across four main titles: Le Bandit (Parisian streets), Le Pharaoh (Egyptian pyramids), Le Fisherman (fishing outdoors), and Le Bunny (Easter theme). All four share the Golden Squares mechanic but differ in volatility, max wins, and special features. Here's how they compare:

| Innovation | Original Le series mechanic | Bonus choice + Lost Treasures mode | Epic Rainbow + Big Catch Bar | None (Le King reskin) |
My Rating: 2.5/5
Highest max win in Le series (20,000x), best hit frequency (41.33%), jackpots add variety. Complete reskin with zero innovation, theme clash, series oversaturation drag it down. Hard to recommend when better Le slots exist.
